Tells the story of over 600 years of University life since its foundation in the 15th century. Founded in 1413, the University of St Andrews is Scotland' oldest university and the third oldest university in the English-speaking world. The St Andrews University Museum (MUSA), opened its doors in October 2008, putting on display some of the real treasures from the past amongst the University's collection of over 112,000 artefacts.
Learn about how the University played a part in shaping the modern world, its ceremonies, its traditions, breakthroughs in sciences, politics and religion all played their part in the story.
Understand what it would have been like to have been a student in the Middle Ages. Learn from the 'Talking Telescope' about the sights and dramatic views of St Andrews Bay.

MUSA is free to the public.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, 12 - 4pm
All the University's museum venues are closed during the Christmas and New Year period.
