Castles, Palaces and great houses of St Andrews and East Fife are part of the range of things to do when visiting St Andrews in Scotland. You will also be able to visit an excellent range of attractions, museums and of course lerant more about the world wide game of golf.
The St Andrews and East Fife area was once where Kings and Queens came to stay, as well as the wealthy in the later years. St Andrew has its own castle but there are many Castles and Great Houses, some lavishly furnished with period pieces, many with lovely gardens, which are often worth a visit in their own right. The combination of the historic buildings and beautiful gardens really make for a great day out.
