St Andrews Aquarium has a variety of creatures from native sharks, black tip reef sharks to octopus, catfish, seahorses, lobsters to lionfish, poison dart frogs to deadly piranhas...... and not to forget the loveable seals, that give everyone so much fun and entertainment.

Always very popular, as you watch them frolic around in their pools. Seal feed time is always a big draw as you can watch their antics, they are naturally playful and inquisitive. The two resident adult common seals Laurel and Hardy, will definitely check you out to see if you have any of their favourite food.

During their twice daily feeds the  seals are challenged to participate in a 'training game' which they really enjoy. Seals are intelligent animals and can get bored if they do not receive enough attention so the recently begun training game is proving to be very popular with them. St Andrews Aquarium have employed the help of an expert animal trainer, to make sure the game is set at the right level for the seals to benefit from most

catch.jpgCATCH, the St Andrews Aquarium Coffee Shop caters for all tastes offering a wide selection of hot food, cold snacks and home baking. CATCH seasonally opens as a bistro style restaurant and bar serving delicious lunches.

The St Andrews Aquarium has a large attractive Gift Shop selling a wide selection of items for all ages.

From February 1st open 7 Days 10am - 5pm.

There is Wheelchair access to approx 50% of the St Andrews Aquarium building, this includes toilets and the seal area, wheelchair users are free of charge.
