Things to Do St Andrews and East Fife - known the world over for golf, with the Old Course and many famous golf courses near by. In addition to golf there is St Andrews Castle and other famous castles a short drive away. St Andrews University is Scotland's oldest and the third oldest in the English speaking world. The St Andrews Museums and other places of interest offer a huge choice of things to do while in St Andrews and East Fife. St Andrews Cathedral, now a ruin is where the remains of Scotland's patron saint St Andrews were brought by a saintly monk called Rule.
