Gilpin, the only knitter to be shortlisted for 'The
Creative Scotland Award'. Di created designs for a number of
companies in Britain and internationally, including JC Rennie
Classic Scotti
sh Tweeds, London based Cabbages & Roses Rowen
and Colinette yarns.
Di Gilpin's story all began in 1983 when she
decided to take a year out and spend time on the Isle of Skye off
the west coast of Scotland. It was to be a year of relaxation and a
time to "find herself". That year turned into the best part of
twenty years! In that time, she opened her first 
business and became
one of the most highly respected hand-knit designers in the UK.
Di has designed collections for Paul Hardy in Canada and has regular features in Country Living.Commission one of Di's designs, purchase a pattern or one of her exclusive yarn knitting kits. Fabulous creative Knitting, Beading & Jewellery workshops .
