St Andrews Gallery

There is not one St Andrews Gallery but a good choice of galleries in St Andrews and East Fife, it is one of the area’s strengths in the number, diversity and the quality of galleries on offer.

The small fishing village of Pittenweem is home to around thirty artists based in the village. Each August, over nine days, local residents play host to the Pittenweem Arts Festival which attracts literally thousands to the town. Many Pittenweem householders offer their homes to the artists as well as public spaces within the village. The festival attracts an exciting mixture of well-established artists, newcomers and resident artists and is a highlight of the St Andrews gallery scene.
