Maisha is a
relatively new restaurant in St Andrews which has hit
the scene in style. Its name 'Maisha' means "working with
pride," which becomes very apparent when you visit the
restaurant.
Maisha was voted in the top 5 of the 'Scottish Curry Awards 2011'.

Maisha is a high quality Indian and Seafood Restaurant, which has made its mark on the very competitive St Andrews restaurant scene, by attracting a regular clientelle.
The
Maisha offers a very comprehensive
menu, each dish has a full explanation, which
includes a description of the ingredients, spices and whether it is
Mild, Creamy Mild, Medium, Hot and even Very Hot.
There is
sure to be something on the menu to suit everyone's palettes.
One of the particular specialities of the chefs at Maisha are Seafood dishes. The chefs home cooking as traditional from the Bay of Bengal where fish is one of the staple diets. They have an excellent reputation for their Fish and Seafood meals all produced in an authentic and traditional Bengali way where the fish is often marinated in preparation to being cooked.
The Maisha Chefs have introduced a Tuna Fish Kebab,
Scottish Lamb's Liver Bhuna, and a fresh local Crab Bhuna recipe
which was developed by Mahfuza, (the owner's wife).
Maisha has a policy of using as much fresh local produce as possible. They have taken great care to sellect the very best chefs who produce authentic mouth watering range of delicious dishes from Bangladesh, India, Thailand.
Maisha has an extensive wine list, it also offers Bangladeshi and Indian beer and an excellent choice of spirits.
Miasha is Open 7 Days Monday to Saturday 12noon to 2.30pm and 5pm to midnight.
